Mobile Marketing Techniques for Your Business

Mobile ads have been shown to be very successful in marketing. If you take action by the user, such as sharing or like, the campaign will be more successful. People use social media more times every day than any other form of media, and these sites are often accessed from mobile devices such as phones, iPads or tablets. If you limit your ads to a static environment, you're missing out on the ability to make your business mobile.

Companies are losing customers if they don't take advantage of Mobile Marketing Services techniques. More than double my clients when I used mobile techniques. I let my customers know that they could get 10% off other items if they shared their purchases on social networks like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I knew that most of my clients used social media through their mobile devices and could engage more people through their networks, rather than paying for an ad in a newspaper. Mobile marketing techniques and strategies for businesses are cheaper than outdated marketing techniques.

What is mobile marketing?

Mobile marketing is advertising using mobile devices. The types of mobile devices are:

Mobile phones
Ipads
Iphones
Tablets
Laptops

Types of mobile marketing techniques:

Consider some of the following methods when creating your mobile marketing campaign:

Banners: When you access a website on your mobile device, there are often banners at the top or bottom of the site. It's a standard banner and you can click on that banner to take it to the consumer's website.

Texting: This is when a company sends a text message to your mobile phone that offers you a discount in a store or an online store. Note that while this can be used as a marketing method, many people often get angry when they receive a text message when they have not specifically subscribed to the service. I know that when I receive a text message from a company, which I haven't specifically ordered, then I usually delete the message without even reading it.

Location-based advertising: This is done using the GPS technology found inside your mobile device. This is where an ad or special offer will appear on your mobile device when you're in the area where the company is located. For example, you can ask Siri to remind you to buy an item when you stop by the store.

Barcodes: These are the barcodes that are sometimes seen in advertisements at bus stops or even on items. You can scan these barcodes on your smartphone using an app like ScanLife, which is available on iPhone, and you are directed to the website or a special offer. This is the preferred mobile marketing method for me because it is proactive on the user side. It's the users' choice to see the ad, rather than being bombarded with messages.

Messages are very important. If you can't get your customers' attention in a nutshell on a mobile device, you won't have a new customer.

Mobile apps: There are many relatively inexpensive ways to build mobile apps that don't cost more than $100-150. I recently experimented with buying a concert in Fiverr.com. For $5 I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see what this mobile app would look like. It's not on the market right now because I didn't have the extra $50 I was going to take to customize it with my own brand; or the $50 I was going to take to put it on the market to download. However, this is an inexpensive way to get your name on the market.
